Toyota, Hyundai chiefs to meet in Seoul for hydrogen alliance

“Hyundai Motor Co., Korea’s largest car seller under Hyundai Motor Group, last month agreed on a strategic partnership with US auto giant General Motors Co. to jointly produce clean hydrogen in the US and develop future mobility solutions such as hydrogen fuel-cell cars and EVs.”
The leaders of Toyota Motor Corp. and Hyundai Motor Group will meet in South Korea later this month, raising expectations of a deepening partnership between the world’s No. 1 and No. 3 auto groups in future mobility technology.
Hyundai Motor announced on Tuesday that Akio Toyoda, chairman of Toyota Motor, will visit South Korea to attend the Hyundai N x TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Festival, which will be held at Everland Speedway on the grounds of the theme park in Yongin on Oct. 27.

Aston University develops novel bone cancer therapy which has 99% success rate

Bioactive glasses, a filling material which can bond to tissue and improve the strength of bones and teeth, has been combined with gallium to create a potential treatment for bone cancer.
Tests in labs have found that bioactive glasses doped with the metal have a 99 percent success rate of eliminating cancerous cells and can even regenerate diseased bones.
The research was conducted by a team of Aston University scientists led by Professor Richard Martin who is based in its College of Engineering and Physical Sciences.

Palo Alto Networks Discloses Critical Bugs in Expedition
The development comes as Palo Alto Networks disclosed multiple security flaws in Expedition that could allow an attacker to read database contents and arbitrary files, in addition to writing arbitrary files to temporary storage locations on the system.
“Combined, these include information such as usernames, cleartext passwords, device configurations, and device API keys of PAN-OS firewalls,” Palo Alto Networks said in a Wednesday alert.
