The flying car company, funded entirely by Larry Page, has been testing for several months now at a secret lake location. I had the cool opportunity to see them in action a while back, but could not talk about it until now.
The vehicle has a floating pontoon that is excluded from the 250 lb. weight of the vehicle in the regulations for ultralight aircraft because it is โsafety equipmentโ. Itโs the biggest and most complete fossil of its kind ever discovered in the U.K.
The remains of a monstrous โsea dragonโ that swam in the seas some 180 million years ago have been unearthed in England.
The chimaera crabโs fossilized eyes were huge and sharp, and it could swim after prey in warm Cretaceous oceans. But its features matched closely to modern-day baby crabs.
The metaverse, which requires a massive amount of computing power, is set to benefit global chipmakersโ but other tech-related industries could also gain from it, analysts say.
Widely seen as the next generation of the internet, the metaverse refers broadly to a virtual world where humans interact through three-dimensional avatars that can be controlled via virtual reality headsets like Oculus.
Through the metaverse, users can engage in virtual activities such as gaming, virtual concerts or live sports.
And the โLocal Bubbleโ continues to grow in size.
14 million years ago a series of supernovae exploded pushing gas outwards and making a bubble that had conditions ideal for the formation of new young stars that we see around us. These are the findings from researchers at the Center for Astrophysics (CfA) Harvard and Smithsonian, an institutional press release said.
