NASA achieved a historic first in April last year when it performed the first-ever controlled flight of an aircraft on Mars. The Ingenuity helicopter, which hitched a ride to Mars aboard NASA’s Perseverance rover, was designed as a proof-of-concept craft that was only expected to fly a total of five times.

Now, the Mars helicopter has achieved flight no. 35, and it has set a new altitude record in the process, reaching a height of 14 meters (46 feet) above the red planet’s surface, NASA announced on Twitter.

The discovery of two-million-year-old DNA has changed all the history that has been recorded so far. It revealed that we should go back one million years to understand Earth’s environment.

The results of the 41 usable samples were found hidden in clay and quartz.

Canva launched Canva Docs in an open beta today, a cloud-based hybrid of a word processor and publishing tool. In addition, Canva Docs will be adding “Magic Write,” a generative AI copywriting tool.

Canva’s latest move aims to diversify the company beyond graphic design and into other areas of marketing and communications. The company added Whiteboards in August, which some have compared to Miro. The Canva tool can also be used to create presentations and edit video.

Its resolution is 1.5 times better compared to state-of-the-art techniques.

Researchers developed a new technology to see very small molecules in 6D. Inspired by the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) design, the latest technology uses mirror segments to sort and gather light on a microscopic scale and take three-dimensional images of molecules both in position and orientation.

Elon Musk’s Twitter looks to be under investigation by San Franscisco building inspectors for installing bedrooms at its headquarters.

Elon Musk seems to be getting a lot of criticism right now. Another Twitter storm is brewing over the company’s decision to put beds, nightstands, and comfortable armchairs in the Twitter headquarters in San Francisco.

According to Forbes, Musk transformed portions of Twitter’s corporate offices into beds for “hardcore” employees. Musk allegedly made a move to show his support for staff members who were so dedicated to their jobs that they were willing to sleep at work.
